Hello, My name is Xinran (Yolanda) Niu, a fourth-year accounting major in the co-op program at the University of Alberta. I currently serve as the Event Director for the Cooperative Education Students' Association (CESA) for the 2024/2025 academic year. In this role, I am responsible for organizing and facilitating events that connect students with professionals, helping them enhance career opportunities.

I joined CESA to build meaningful relationships with my peers, strengthen my professional network, and develop my leadership skills. Additionally, I volunteer as a mentor with Junior Achievement and work as a Teaching Assistant for ACCTG 211 at the Tutorial Center for Fall 2024.

In my leisure time, I enjoy snowboarding, running, reading, spending time with friends, and cooking. During the snow season, you can often find me at Snow Valley, and I would love to meet and have fun together if you are there too!
